7th Annual Trail of Tears Re-enactment Walk
On November 6, 2010 in Lawrenceburg Tennessee is the 7th Annual Trail of Tears Re-enactment walk and Social on the Public Square at 10:00 central time.
Our drum is ‘Southern Echo’, and our flag carriers are members of the Tennessee Native Veterans Society after the walk we will be having an Indian Social at the David Crockett State Park Shelter number 1 with Cathy’s Fry bread. You will be able to walk in the original road bed the ancestors used in the park, untouched by progress.
Come out and walk with us to honor all the tribes removed from their homelands. There is also a silent Auction to raise money for the Drum’s gas.
We do accept donations of items for the auction.
Bring a Covered Dish to Share.
The Walk is always the first Saturday in November.
