Giles Countians will pause Monday to observe the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

Events will begin at 10:45am at the gazebo located on the north side of the Giles County Court House. Following a brief ceremony, those attending will march to the Greater Richland Creek Central Building. Reverend Archie Williams will be the guest speaker. The service will also feature youth performances.

An evening program is planned for 6pm Monday at the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 525 Short School Road in Pulaski. The speaker will be Reverend Cornell Martin.
