here in Giles County!
.
Turkey Hunters from across the United States will be hunting turkey in five southern Middle Tennessee counties!
Giles, Maury, Marshall, Lincoln, Lawrence
Giles County will host the event with the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Foundation (TWRF).
Successful turkey hunters will check in their birds on the north side of the
Giles County Courthouse in Downtown Pulaski.
The banquet will be held at Cardin Distributing 1219 West College Street.
Jeanette Rudy, a TWRA Commissioner, who chaired the first three
"Tennessee Governor's One-Shot Turkey Hunt" meetings,
has spent much of her time making life more positive for others, from her dedication to Cumberland University in Lebanon where a nursing division honors her name, to her impressivewaterfowl stamp collection that the Smithsonian Museum displays in Washington, D.C.
The Wildlife Foundation hopes to gain more strength when dozens of hunters representing country music, legislators, wildlife management, industry, and other fields gather for the one day turkey hunt and public banquet created by Jeanette Rudy's determination.
While the hunt is open to a list of invitees willing to donate $1,000 to the Wildlife Foundation, the public can join in the fun during an evening banquet.
